2010 Barcelona World Race
Ricard and Tim were on stage along with Karli and Toni Tio discussing design and sail elements of the current generation IMOCA 60s at the BWR race village before the fleet leaves at the end of December.

Family Friendly version of our Classe 950
We have dug out our Classe 950 design and given it a coat of 'suburban gray' and a little teak trim to make it less extreme and a more family friendly version of our original racy design. The moulds are finished and waiting while we are refining a construction method that uses 100% organic based epoxy resins and fibres. With the remarkable sales success of similar sized yachts that ALL the production builders have produced since the 950 rule was launched there is no denying that this is a great format, despite the poor success of the class itself.

2010 Route de Rhum Start
THYD were on the water to see the awesome start of the 2010 RdR. While we didn't have any of our designs on the start line this time, we were there researching for current and future clients -as Tim stared longingly for the day he might join the start line...

METS 2010
We made the annual pilgrimage again to METS to catch up with new products and familiar faces from around the world. A few new evolutionary things, but certainly nothing revolutionary. Plenty of little ideas though to help detailing designs.

Soler Yachts S34 Fast Cruiser and Motor Sailor
We have begun design work on the Soler series of yachts based on the concept by Alexander Morozov, who will building them under the name of Morozov Yachts. 2010 Mini Empuries
Although not a THYD design, Tim co-skippers with Juan Carlos Olivier, owner of the ex-Acutal Mini650. After an epic downwind start the duo settle for 2nd place in difficult light winds.

Summer holidayzzz
Tim returns from his summer spent cruising around Menorca on our EsDi 25 design. The twin rudders allow tight stern-to mooring in the many beautiful calas, while the lifting keel allows close access to the beaches.
