Two sisterships were built to this design and competed in the 2009 Mini Transat race . The hull form is an evolution from our 2003 design but incorporates a highly innovative 'over-extending canting keel' which allows a substantial extension when fully canted to windward, thus increasing righting moment. After lots of finger-pointing the boats are still waiting to see their full potential achieved...
